Unable to start ObjectStore.

Troubleshooting

Problem

The ObjectStore Server R6.0 service hangs on starting.

Symptom

Error 1067, the process terminated unexpectedly.

In the osserver.txt, the following error message appears:
Tue May 15 12:13:47 2012 ObjectStore Release 6.2 Service Pack 1 Database Server
Tue May 15 12:13:47 2012 LOG 0001 There are no partitions specified in the parameters file.
Only file databases will be accessible through this server.
Tue May 15 12:13:47 2012 LOG 0002 The transaction log is not empty. Starting transaction log processing.
Tue May 15 12:13:48 2012 FAILURE in ObjectStore Release 6.2 Service Pack 1 Database Server
