Problem

Not able to start the FileNet Content Engine Content Search Services service on Linux.

Symptom

IBM Content Search Services (CSS) service not starting. The following warning is displayed:

./startup.sh: line 106: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Operation not permitted WARNING: The startup script was unable to set the number of files per process value to 65536
