Problem
FTP Server Won't Start
Symptom
Unable to start the FTP server. The server job ends immediately.
Resolving The Problem
The FTP server joblog showed CPF1124, CPI1125 and CPF1164 with ending code 0. CPI1125 showed the server job was submitted to job queue QBATCH instead of the default QSYSNOMAX. DSPJOBD QTMFTPS in library QUSRSYS revealed its Job queue was QGPL/QBATCH instead of QSYS/QSYSNOMAX and the Routing data
was QCMDI instead of FTPSERVE.
The customer changed the job queue and routing data in job description QUSRSYS/QTMFTPS back to the default values. The FTP server started successfully afterward.
