Problem

This technote identifies an IBM® Rational® ClearCase® defect relating to the error []file.csv cannot be accessed, the file may be read only or you may be trying to access a read only location[] OR []the server the document is stored on is not responding[] being reported when opening a .csv file with Microsoft® Excel in a dynamic view on a host with Citrix® installed and provides you with information on how to workaround the issue.

Symptom


When opening a .csv file with Microsoft Excel in a dynamic view for the 2nd time on a machine with Citrix installed, an error occurs and the file fails to open.

The error message reported is:

file.csv cannot be accessed, the file may be read only or you may be trying to access a read only location. OR the server the document is stored on is not responding
