Abstract

Getting an error window trying to launch the Control Center GUI Console
After 3/14/2021 the GUI Console will not launch get an error about expired

Java Application Blocked - Application Blocked by Java Security

Reason: Your security settings have blocked an application signed with an expired or not-yet-valid certificate from running.

Symptom

After 3/14/2021 the GUI Console will not launch get an error about expired

Cause

The application jar signing has expired.

Work around till an iFix is published.

High-level steps

  1. Open Java Control Panel (javaws -viewer)
  2. Add the CC Launch page URL to exception list (Example https://mycontrolcenter.com:58083)
  3. Launch the Swing UI again
