Unable to execute macro: Automation error~The remote procedure call failed

Troubleshooting


Problem

Running an 'Execute Analyst' macro from within the CAC and via a batch job fails but executes sucessfully when run in Analyst.

Symptom

When running the macro from within the CAC it sits in a 'Running' state until it is manually cancelled. The batch job (via utility batch wizard in Analyst) fails.

In the planningerrorlog.csv file the following errors are logged:

"Unable to execute macro~~~~Unable to execute 'DLU Activities and Accounts'~~~~Automation error~The remote procedure call failed"

In the batch log file:

"9999 Initilisation Failed"
"Session Started"
"[E US00304] AutoStart Macro [#0].DLU Activities and Accounts does not exist"
"Return code set to 9999 Initialisation Failed"
