IBM Support

Unable to create a Microsoft SQL Server database stub

Troubleshooting

Problem

JDBC stubs created in IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT) do not contain any data when accessing Microsoft SQL Server tables with identity columns.

Symptom

You have setup the JDBC agent on top of your Java application.

Your application queries, as part of other columns, an identity column against your Microsoft SQL Server database.

You have created a valid database transport in IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT) for the real and for your stub databases, both on Microsoft SQL Server.

You launch your recording in Recording Studio with options set to :

image-20190404103533-1

Your database stub is then not correctly created in Microsoft SQL Server.
The identity column in the stub database is not created, therefore the stub is not usable.
