Unable to connect to Microsoft SQL Server via ODBC

Troubleshooting


Problem

Linux users are unable to connect to Microsoft SQL Server via ODBC when having multiple instances of SQL Server on the same SQL Server machine.

Symptom

Receive the following error message:
