When will the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) 6.2 products reach End of Support (EOS)?

Answer

April 30, 2015 has been announced as the End of Support date (EOS) for most IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Version 6.2 products. The announcement letter is available here:

April 30, 2016 has been announced as the EOS date for the Version 6.2 TSM for Virtual Environments (VE) product. The announcement letter is available here: http://www.ibm.com/common/ssi/cgi-bin/ssialias?subtype=ca&infotype=an&appname=iSource&supplier=897&letternum=ENUS915-114

After the EOS date, support for TSM products is available to you if you have done one of the following:

  • upgraded to a current product release that has not reached end of support, such as Spectrum Protect 7.1 or 8.1
