Question

When will the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) 5.5 and 6.1 products reach End of Support (EOS)?

Answer

April 30, 2014 was the End of Support date (EOS) for most IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Version 5.5 and 6.1 products with distributed platforms. To obtain support beyond the product EOS date, you must either:

  • upgrade to a current product release still in support, such as 6.3, 6.4, or 7.1; or
  • if available, purchase a support extension to existing TSM 5.5 or 6.1 maintenance contracts through your IBM account team, to extend support at the Version 5.5 or 6.1 level
