Problem
How do you troubleshoot IBM DB2 installation problems that occur during the Tivoli Directory Server installation portion of the Rational Directory Server install?
Symptom
During the IBM Tivoli Directory Server installation, DB2 fails to install successfully with an error like:
GLPINS006E DB2 installation failed.GLPINS0891 Refer to the ldapinst.log in <path> for more information.GLPINS002E
Installation cannot continue.
