Problem

You experience connectivity issues when using NSX Manager. What steps can you use to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem?

Resolving The Problem

Refer to VMWare Docs Troubleshooting NSX Manager Issues for an overview. Below is a checklist of the commands you can use to gather data or run tasks to help you troubleshoot.
To check VC and host connectivity:
  • debug connection IP_of_ESXi_or_VC
To check connection issues with VC:
  • show log manager follow
For UI issues, restart web-manager service:
  • no web-manager
  • web-manager
To check logs:
  • show log manager follow
  • show log manager last 3
