How to transfer license keys from one system to another.
Resolving The Problem
The license keys are specific to a serial number. However, the Transfer ePoE option from Entitlements can be used to transfer keys from one system to another system. https://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/ess/ProtectedServlet.wss
Select the "My inventory" tab then choose the Designated machine.
Under Software license click the Entitlements tab, then select the licenses you wish to transfer.
If any assistance is needed, you should contact the License Key Center. For contact information for the Electronic Software Support Web site, go to https://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/ess/ProtectedServlet.wss and select Contacts from the left panel.
Example: The United States number is 800-446-8989 with e-mail wwswkeys@dk.ibm.com.
