Tracking Points

Each tracking point is associatedwith a processing activity called an event that can either succeedor fail. Sterling InFlight Data Management determinesthe status of the data by monitoring the three events that mark itsprogress through the system. In a complete process both inbound data(sent to your company) and outbound data (sent from your company)must be Received Processedand Sent.

Data starts in your company is received and processed by the Sterling B2B Collaboration Network which is all tracked by Sterling InFlight Data Management and then is sent to your trading partner. When data is sent by your trading partner it starts in their network and then is sent to the Sterling B2B Collaboration Network which is tracked by Sterling InFlight Data Management and then is received by your company.
