Troubleshooting
Problem
Some customers have upgraded to Tornado 2.2 or Tornado 2.2.1 and now are experiencing slow compile times for IBM Rational Rose RealTime models using the GNU compiler.
Cause
WindRiver is aware of the problem and has a patch available.
Resolving The Problem
Please contact WindRiver support and download the "Tornado 2.2, 2.2 cp1, and 2.2.1 cumulative GNU" patch for your architecture.
Please do the following:
1) apply the Tornado patch
2) rebuild the vxWorks image and reboot the target using the image
3) rebuild the Rose RealTime TargetRTS libraries
4) rebuild Rose RealTime Connexis library if used
5) rebuild the Rose RealTime model
