Too many sockets in FIN_WAIT2 state in the FTP Server

Troubleshooting

Problem

Too many sockets in FIN_WAIT2 state in the FTP Server

Symptom

When FTP server adapter hits the timeout for a particular session, it closes the session thus closing the control connection. Some of the FTP clients (like Windows FTP client) do not properly handle the situation and do not do the cleaning part, thus leaving the socket in FIN_WAIT2 state at the server end.
The Sterling Integrator server needs to do the cleaning by its own so that it does not run out of descriptors.
