TM1 Performance Modeler unable to connect to TM1 Server

Troubleshooting


Problem

Unable to launch performance modeler after migrating from a previous version, Also unable to open a TM1 application in cognos Tm1 Web.

Symptom

Navigate to Cognos Applications Portal to launch TM1
performance modeler. Receive the following error:

Could not create the view: 'Could not connect to the TM1 server. :com.
cognos.planning.exception.ModelOpenException: com.ibm.cognos.tm1.
TM1Exception: SystemServerClientNotFound'
WHILE [CCLMsg: system text='While get children']

Details:com.ibm.cognos.pmpsvc.service.api.PlanningApplicationException:
Could not connect to the TM1 server. :com.cognos.planning.exception.
ModelOpenException: com.ibm.cognos.tm1.TM1Exception:
SystemServerClientNotFound
at com.ibm.cognos.pmpsvc.service.impl.PlanningService.
getApplicationDefinition(PlanningService.java:578)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
