This document describes the time zone values for the Java Timezone class.
Resolving The Problem
Here is the timezone map from Sun's Timezone class. The comment with the GMT+nn is the number of hours from Greenwich Mean Time the timezone is. The descriptive text string represents the value that should be used for the "user.timezone" java property. For example: user.timezone=America/Chicago.
