Testing ecma CME Formulas using ECMA Script Formula Editor(ESFE)
Content
1. Create or Edit formulas using Text Editor like vi, notepad, etc.
2. Load formula document into the ESFE tool.
3. Optionally, you can load resources from the DB and also pull live input metrics from running CMEs.
4. Create sample input metrics for the formula you want to test.
5. Execute the test and observe the output values that your formula produces.
6. Save results
7. Make further changes in your formula, Load saved results, Execute test and verify if the new version of your formula produces the correct output by comparing with the saved results.
