Troubleshooting
Problem
I am using SPSS DISCRIMINANT to derive functions for classifying cases into one of several groups. My DISCRIMINANT output indicates that there are significant differences among the group means on the set of predictors. How can I test whether the classification accuracy of the solution is greater than I could expect by random assignment of cases to groups?
