"Test database connection" may fail with "UDA-SQL-0569 [...]"

Problem

Testing the Warehouse connection in order to verify the Warehouse Summarization and Pruning Agent configuration, an error message about missing DB2 library maybe reported.

Symptom

The "test database connection" will return the following error message:

QE-DEF-0285 The logon failed
QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for the following reason:
RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 1 database(s) in testDataSourceConnection
UDA-SQL-0569 Unable to load the driver manager library (db2cli.dll).
UDA-SQL-0571 The operating system returned an error message (The specified module could not be found)

Cause

The Warehouse database is remote respect to the machine where the IBM Tivoli Monitoring infrastracture is installed.

Resolving The Problem

Install a DB2 client over the machine where the Warehouse database has been catalogued.
