Tendered Status
Sterling TMS setsthe status to Tendered when the shipper hasoffered the load to the carrier. You have the following options fortendering a shipment:
- Tender the shipment using the Carrier Selection page.
- Place the shipment on a tour and tender it.
- Submit a shipment through data exchange with the Load Tender (LT)indicator set. Your organization must be profiled to do tenderingin Sterling TMS.
- The shipment reaches the tender time fence the shipment is assignedto a carrier and your organization is profiled to do tendering in Sterling TMS.
In addition to the Tendered status Sterling TMS provides separatestatus entries for Broadcast Requestfor Capacity and Shipper Review.You can use these status entries to track specific tendering scenarios.
