Question & Answer
Question
How do you set TCPIP stack affinity for zOSMF?
Answer
There are two possible methods to set TCPIP stack affinity for zOSMF
1 - Update the ZOSMF Server started task JCL with the statement:
//AFFINITY EXEC PGM=BPXTCAFF,PARM='TCPIP'
2 - In the /var/zosmf/configuration/local_override/cfg file, you can place SERVER_ENV_OPT=_BPXK_SETIBMOPT_TRANSPORT=TCPIP_stack_name
Where TCPIP_stack_name is the TCPIP stack you want zOSMF to bind to.
