Problem
Tivoli management region installation was done overriding the “etc/Tivoli” default specification.
Resolving The Problem
The problem is caused by using a non-default configuration when installing a Tivoli management region or managed node on UNIX operating systems only. This problem occurs if the "etc/Tivoli" directory is not in the default location. Though not a common occurrence and not encouraged, if it has been done various tasks fail with a message that usually looks like the following:
FRWTE0018E Wed Oct 13 13:15:35 2004 (18): `execve' failed with code `2': `/tmp/taskAAAa14150.BAT'
This is an unsupported installation.
