TADz: Getting SQL error -601 while creating a second repository

Troubleshooting


Problem

The SQLCODE -601 is displayed when HSISDB01 is run in order to create a second repository.

Symptom

DB2 SQL-Error: -601
THE NAME OF THE OBJECT TO BE DEFINED OR THE TARGET OF A RENAME STATEMENT IS IDENTICAL TO THE EXISTING NAME OF THE OBJECT TYPE object-type
Explanation:
An attempt to name an object failed because the name is already in use for an object of the same type.

Resolving The Problem

If you are using the same storage groups and GKB as the first repository, HSISDB01 and HSISDB02 are not required. Run HSISDB03 to define the second repository.

Grant the permissions for the HSIJANLO started task to select the new repositories. The Analyzer is not dynamic, but if you restart or refresh it, then it should pick up the additional repositories.
