Table structure for Product Hierarchy

Question & Answer

Question

Table structure for Product Hierarchy

Answer

The tables that hold the basic hierarchy data are DTOPT.ProductHierarchyNode and DTOPT.ProductHierarchyTree

The table that holds the Product to HierarchyNode relationship is DTOPT.ProductHierarchyMap

The table that holds the HierarchyNode to DT Category relationship is DTOPT.ProductHierarchyCategoryMap

There is an OL interface that allows these tables to be loaded.? This interface requires two files: Node master to define all of the Hierarchy nodes and Hierarchy tree which defines the Parent-->child nodes relationships.

Products must be assigned to these nodes.? This can only be accomplished by importing the products again assigning to the correct nodes by using columns:HierarchyNodeType and HierarchyNodeName.
