Product description

IBM InfoSphere Optim Workload Replay is based on the IBM InfoSphere Guardium® platform, and includes:

You install the InfoSphere Guardium appliance on a dedicated computer or virtual machine. The installation program installs a new Red Hat Linux Version 5.8, 64-bit operating system on the computer or virtual image, and then installs the Guardium appliance.

Note: Only platforms and hardware that are officially supported by Red Hat Linux 5.8 can be used as Guardium platforms, however, not all officially supported Red Hat Linux 5.8 platforms can be used. Platforms that require additional drivers or specialized post-install configuration are not supported. For a list of platforms that were tested by IBM, see Appendix A: Certified Hardware, Detailed Specifications in the IBM InfoSphere Guardium Software Appliance Technical Requirements document. This document is available on the IBM InfoSphere Guardium - Software Appliance Kit V9.0 DVD.
