System requirements for the Common Information Model (CIM) server

Abstract

Before you can collect operating system data by using IBM® Optim Performance Manager for DB2® for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows® Version 4.1, the monitored DB2 instance on which you install the CIM server must meet specific software requirements.

Linux
LinuxOpen OpenPegasus 2.7.1 CIM Server or later is required.

These SBLIM packages are required:

  • sblim-cmpi-devel 1.0.2 or later
  • sblim-cmpi-base 1.5.4 or later
  • sblim-cmpi-fsvol 1.4.3 or later

AIX
One of the following operating systems is required:
  • AIX Version 5.2 TL09 or later with an open-source implementation of the Common Information Model Object Manager (CIMOM) called Pegasus Version 2.5.1.21
  • AIX Version 5.3 TL06 or later, or AIX Version 6.1 with an open-source implementation of the Common Information Model Object Manager (CIMOM) called Pegasus Version 2.6.1.30 or later

Solaris
