Problem
This technote explains why importing an IBM® Rational® ClearCase® Team project set using the Eclipse 3.1 ClearCase Plug-in with the Sun® 1.4.2 JRE yields an informational dialog warning citing a formatting error due to system properties not being specified.
Symptom
Importing a project set using the Eclipse 3.1 ClearCase Plug-in with Sun's JRE version 1.4.2 yields the following Information pop-up:
