Abstract
This document describes the system maintenance and pre-entitled component updates that are available for use with IBM® PureApplication™ System Version 1.1.0.1. Unless indicated otherwise, the information applies to both 8283 and 8278 systems.

System fix packs
The supported paths for installing Version 1.1.0.1 are listed as follows:
- Version 1.1.0.0 Interim Fix 2 to Version 1.1.0.1
- Version 1.1.0.0 Interim Fix 1 to Version 1.1.0.1
The system fix pack contains firmware and software updates for the system's platform components. Contact your IBM service representative to install the system fix pack.
Attention: The system fix pack must be installed before you can install the Version 1.1.0.1 Group Fix, which you can access from the PureSystems Centre. See the Accessing updates from the PureSystems Centre section for more information.
Add-ons and shared services
The following table lists the supported add-ons and shared services. When an add-on or shared service is updated for a new release of PureApplication System, the updates are delivered as a group fix in the PureSystems Centre. Even though not every component in the Version 1.1.0.0 Group Fix is updated for Version 1.1.0.1, the components of the Version 1.1.0.0 Group Fix are compatible with the components of the Version 1.1.0.1 Group Fix.

Virtual images and integrated virtual patterns
The following table lists the virtual images and integrated virtual patterns that are supported in Version 1.1.0.1. When a virtual image or virtual pattern is updated for a new release of PureApplication System, the updated component is available for download in the PureSystems Centre. Even though not every virtual image or virtual pattern is updated at the time of the Version 1.1.0.1 release, the virtual images or virtual patterns available in Version 1.1.0.0 are compatible with Version 1.1.0.1 systems.

Accessing updates from the PureSystems Centre
Access updates to add-ons, shared services, virtual images, and virtual patterns in the PureSystems Centre as described in the following steps.
- Access the PureSystems Centre.
- Click System Updates.
- Click PureApplication System.
- Select the appropriate tab for your system. Select W1500 for 8283 systems. Select W1700 for 8278 systems.
- Expand the section for the current version of your system.
- Download the updates that you want to apply to your system by clicking the name of each update.
- Install the updates to your system. See the following information center links for more information:
