"System call failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010100 (RPC_E_SYS_CALL_FAILED))" when using 'Process Layouts'

Troubleshooting


Problem

User launches the main Controller client, and clicks "Maintain - Form Structure - Define". User clicks tab 'Process Layouts' and chooses some forms, and clicks the green arrow to select them. User clicks the green 'tick' button, showing that the form is valid to process. User clicks the blue 'play' button (to start processing the layout). An error appears.
