Problem
System ASP % Warning or Critical icon shows on IBM Navigator for i Dashboard or List View even though the system has not reached the value in the QSTGLOWLMT system value.
Symptom
System ASP % Warning or Critical icon shows on IBM Navigator for i GUI Dashboard
Cause
IBM Navigator for i ASP Threshold range has a Warning default of 50%
Environment
IBM i partition storage is over the minimum range listed for the Warning in IBM i Navigator for i
Diagnosing The Problem
From IBM Navigator for i GUI Dashboard or List View (top left icon), Determine the System ASP % that is listed.
Select Serviceability (wrench in lower left) > Connection Properties > Thresholds
This will identify the Good, Warning, and Critical ranges that is set for monitoring.
Resolving The Problem
From IBM Navigator for i
Select Serviceability (wrench in lower left) > Connection Properties > Thresholds
Change the ranges to the desired values.
