ImagePlus Workstation Program (IWPM) supports the following Windows versions:
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 7 Ultimate (not Windows 7 Home Premium Edition)
- Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 Enterprise
ImagePlus Workstation Program is a 32-bit application that is supported to run on both 32- and 64-bit versions of the operating system. Please also note that IWPM running on Windows 7 is supported on a machine running single processor mode only. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 support require a special installation procedure provided by IBM SupportLine. Please see the link in the "Related information" section below for more information.
There are currently no plans to support any version of Windows after Windows 7. For Microsoft Windows Lifecycle dates, please click here. Per Announcement Letter 916-117, IBM Content Manager ImagePlus Workstation Program will go out of support on September 30, 2018, as will the underlying server products used by IWPM. The end of support announcement for IBM DB2® Content Manager for iSeries (and thus the optional feature used by IWPM named WAF or Workfolder Application Facility) is listed in the same Announcement Letter 916-117, while IBM Content Manager ImagePlus® Folder Application Facility for OS/390® and IBM Content Manager ImagePlus Object Distribution Manager for OS/390 are listed in Announcement Letter 917-008.
