If I run into issues with my backup when using the Tivoli connector, will IBM support me?
Answer
Yes, IBM will support your use of the Netezza TSM connector.
The Tivoli Storage Manager backup connector was introduced in NPS Release 4.6 and was developed using the Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Application Program Interface (API).
The Netezza connector has been reviewed by IBM and is certified for use. The IBM support status for the Netezza TSM connector is currently 'Supported'. This status is described at the following IBM website page:
