Support for the DB2 legacy CLI-based Type 2 JDBC Driver and the DB2 legacy CLI-based Type 2 JDBC Driver (XA) is removed from IBM® WebSphere® Application Server Version 7.0.

Because support for the DB2 legacy CLI-based Type 2 JDBC Driver and the DB2 legacy CLI-based Type 2 JDBC Driver (XA) is removed from WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0, you cannot configure these drivers to run with WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 and later.
Instead, use the DB2 Universal JDBC Driver with WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 and later.
