Does Netezza support a SunOS client on the Intel platform?
Answer
Netezza currently supports a SunOS Solaris client on the SPARC platform only.
If you install a Solaris client on the Intel platform and try to execute the nzsql -h command, you will get the following message:
- -bash: /etl/nz/bin/nzsql: Invalid argument
You may open an enhancement request with Netezza Customer Support.
