Successive drill-through do not update the subset context properly for IBM Cognos TM1 Application Web

Within IBM Cognos TM1 Application Web, when one drills through to a target view, it can be such that the initial target renders fine, but any successive drills do not properly update the subset/context of the new drills. The 'original' layout is always presented.

The reason the subset context does not render properly in a TM1 Application Web environment is because all TM1 subsets are cached and synchronized. On the first drill-through, the view opens "correctly" and stores all of the subsets from it within a cache. The second view contains the exact same subset names - although possibly containing different elements - but the subsets that are used to render the view come from the cache due to synchronization. This is intended behavior in TM1 Application Web, which is causing all successive drill-through to appear as the first one. If one were to try this in TM1Web or Architect, all drill through would display with the desired behavior, as no subsets are cached and re-used.

Note that TM1 10.1.1 also acts in the same way for TM1 Application Web cases, hence this is not the result of the change from .NET to Java web.

Resolving The Problem

The work around is that the user can manually change the subset and the view will be correct within TM1 Application Web.
