How do you strip off the Windows end-of-line CR/LF from a UNIX file?

Answer
Sterling Connect:Direct for UNIX does not have a feature to remove both the CR and LF. UNIX uses LF only to mark the end of the line. So transferring data in TEXT mode from Windows to UNIX will only remove a CR.
