4. DISK SPACE REQUIREMENTS AND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
=====================================================================
Sterling B2B Integrator Version 5.2.6 requires approximately 8 GB of additional disk space for fix pack installation on an existing install.

The following stack updates have been made in this release:

Added support for the following items:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 operating system on x86 servers
• Firefox ESR 38 web browser
• Internet Explorer 10 and Internet Explorer 11 web browsers

Removed support for the following items that were supported in Sterling B2B Integrator Version 5.2.5:

• SUSE Linux 10 operating system
• Red Hat Linux 5 operating system on x86 servers
• AIX 5.3 operating system
• Solaris 9 operating system
• HP-UX 11i v2 operating system
• iSeries v6 operating system
• Windows 2003 server
• Firefox ESR 31, ESR 24, and ESR 17 web browsers
• Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8 web browsers

6. INSTALLING IBM STERLING B2B INTEGRATOR
=====================================================================
Check the Sterling B2B Integrator Version 5.2.6 System Requirements before installing or upgrading to ensure that your database and operating system versions are still supported, and update them as necessary. Note that only Java SE Development Kit Version 7 is allowed.

Users who are upgrading from Sterling B2B Integrator Version 5.2.x, who may be accustomed to downloading a smaller jar file to install their upgrades, must now download the large file. You can, however, simply apply the patch jar file that is contained within the download.

Also as of this release, IBM Installation Manager must be used by all users running Windows and UNIX operating systems. You must also use IBM Installation Manager for upgrading by installing Version 5.2.6 as a patch.
