Steps to delete an active user from Liferay
Answer
Only a Liferay admin can?delete a deactivated user.
- Search for the Active user from the Liferay Admin page (for example, by their email address)
- Edit the user to remove all the assigned orgs
- Click Save and click Back to return to the previous Enterprise?Admin screen
- Deactivate the selected users by using the Deactivate button.? User deactivated will disappear from the current Enterprise Admin screen.
- From the same screen, search for the deactivated user under the same email address by selecting ?No? from the Active?dropdown
- The deactivated user will show up.? Click on Delete button to delete the user.
To verify in the database:
select * from dtmisc.user where email in ('user1@ibm.com', 'user2@ibm.com')
