This document illustrates the steps followed by one administrator to upgrade a server from IBM Connections CR1 to IBM Connections 5.0 CR2


The attached document illustrates the steps followed by one administrator to apply IBM Connections 5.0 CR2 where everything is installed on a single Windows 2012 server. The environment being upgraded is a test environment, so not sized for production.

Before you begin, you should review Update strategy for IBM Connections 5.0 (technote 1683118) for documentation and complete steps.

Internal Use Only

  1. ecmdb01198449: In the Connections integration, an editor cannot check in after a file has been shared with them. (IC 140537)
  2. ecmdb01198448: Connections folder activity stream json should have "visible=false" attribute (IC 108378 and IC 126825)
  3. ecmdb01198446: a document filed in a subfolder of a review-enabled teamspace inherits security from the folder without having been approved (IC 138195)
