Startup queries do not run at login, and decorations are missing



This technote identifies an issue that can occur in the IBM Rational ClearQuest Eclipse RCP client if you have multiple startup queries. After upgrading, the startup queries do not run.


After upgrading to a newer version, ClearQuest fails to run startup queries if there are multiple startup queries configured. Additionally, the icon decorations that denote queries being configured to run at startup are missing.


This issue was identified as a product defect under APAR PM05544.


This problem is observed in versions through, through, and through 7.1.1.

Resolving The Problem

This defect is fixed starting in ClearQuest,, and Upgrade to the latest patch for your release to resolve the problem.

This problem does not affect the ClearQuest Web client or ClearQuest for Windows client.
