Troubleshooting
Problem
After installing SSP configuration manager and the engine in the DMZ the Configuration manager is showing the engine is down. Error being shown in SSP logs: WARN Configurator - Background agent is unable to connect to Engine DR-Engine-1 exception message is:com.sterlingcommerce.hadrian.common.net. ConnectionException: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused Verified that the engine was up and netstat shows the port listening.
Cause
A network issue.
Resolving The Problem
Check firewall between the CM and engine to ensure the port to the engine is open.
