SQLB_NOT_ALLOWED_ROLLFORWARD warning in db2diag.log during ROLLFORWARD QUERY STATUS operation

Troubleshooting


Problem

When performing  a ROLLFORWARD operation with the QUERY STATUS option, the db2diag.log may display diagnostic messages indicating a warning with token "ZRC=0x80020034=-2147352524=SQLB_NOT_ALLOWED_ROLLFORWARD 'Access not allowed. Tblspc RF in Progress.'".

Symptom

The diagnostic messages will contain the MESSAGE token "ZRC=0x80020034=-2147352524=SQLB_NOT_ALLOWED_ROLLFORWARD", and contain a FUNCTION token of "DB2 UDB, buffer pool services, sqlbIsAllowed, probe:1075", as shown below:
