Troubleshooting
Problem
SQLB_CONTAINER_IN_USE "Container is already being used" occurs when creating a tablespace.
Symptom
In the following example, there is a disk issue with tempspace 2 thus tempspace 2 is put into drop pending state. Created tempspace 3 and proceeded to drop tempspace 2. This completed successfully but now attempting to recreate tempspace 2 using the same location as original it states that the container is in use. List tablespace does not show an entry for tempspace2.
