SQL1646 when trying to call a non-SQL stored procedure or UDF

Troubleshooting


Problem

When trying to call any non-SQL routine (stored procedure or user defined function), DB2 returns the following message: SQL1646N A routine failed because the fenced user ID cannot access required files in the sqllib directory or other instance or database directories.

Symptom

All non-SQL routines will fail including the ones included with DB2 such as "CALL GET_DBSIZE_INFO(?, ?, ?, -1) "
