Troubleshooting
Problem
db2start fails with SQL1042C on the standby machine during Veristas HACMP failover process.
Symptom
In a non-MPP configuration , during Veritas Cluster Server failover process, db2start fails to start the instance on the passive node with SQL1042C. The error means :
SQL1042C "Unexpected system error occurred."
Failing back to the Primary server works and the db2start works without errors.
