Problem(Abstract)

SQL map is not handling line feed character in database field value although Syntax Token range 0x01 to 0xFF is defined.

Symptom

Gentran Integration Suite All Releases
SQL to delimited map database column contains a line feed character (hex 0A / 0x0A) thus subsequent data is being read as a new record
The same issue would exist if the input side were positional

Error Message

Code 25 Warning indicating the data after the line feed character.


Resolving the problem

Either modify the database to not accept line feeds to be entered into the database columns or write an update statement to remove them prior to translation.
