Problem

SQL exception "Connection reset by peer: socket write error" in application event log.? This error occurs when the TeaLeaf Report Data Collector tries to communicate with SQL server running on a remote server. It means the remote SQL Server did not respond to the request by the Report Data Collector to insert data.? This could be a network or SQL Server related problem.

Solution
Restarting the TeaLeaf services clears the problem if it is a temporary problem with the remote SQL Server. If the error persists after restarting the TeaLeaf services contact the Database Administrator (DBA) responsible for the remote SQL Server or the Network staff responsible for the connection between the RealiTea server and the remote SQL Server.?

If there are multiple RealiTea servers in the system it is necessary to restart the TeaLeaf Services on the Portal server where the Report Data Collector service is running.
