Abstract
The SQL Error Logging Facility (SELF) provides a new and different technique on Db2 for i to understand, study, and resolve SQL errors and warnings.

Enhanced with IBM i 7.6 SF99960 Level 2 & IBM i 7.5 SF99950 Level 11:
- QSYS2.SQL_ERRORT table is pruned using the SYSIBMADM.QIBM_SELF_BY_DAYS global variable
- Logging can be ended for all jobs
Enhanced with IBM i 7.5 SF99950 Level 5 & IBM i 7.4 SF99704 Level 26:
- Logging can be requested for all error SQLCODEs (*ERROR), all warning SQLCODEs (*WARN), or all errors and warnings (*ALL)
- SQL_ERROR_LOG includes thread ID
